Emma went to the pediatrician last Friday for her 2 month check up. She is very tall for her age... almost 24 inches long, which means she is taller than 87% of females her age. She also weighs 11 pounds, 8 ounces, which puts her in the 62 percentile. I also had to endure watching her get 4 shots... 2 in each thigh. She hadn't cried real tears until that day. Poor thing! Her face got really red and she screamed so loud!
Developmentally, her doctor thinks she is a bit ahead of the curve. She coos a lot and follows people very closely. She is very studious of her surroundings. She is happiest when she is either in her swing or bouncy seat just taking in the world around her.
Her doctor wants her to have more tummy time throughout the day so she can build her muscles. So we have been putting in lots of time at the play gym...
